Once again, it’s that time of week again. What time is that you may ask? Well my fine feathered friend, it is time for the seventeenth page of Ninja Turtles Dawn of the Ninja. Go check it out by clicking on the “Read” navigation button, or by simply clicking on the link I will provide below the post I am typing to you with my very own fingers.

Loyal fans and everyone else who loves TMNT,

As you may or may not have known, I have personally paid for the development of DOTN up unto this point. I’ve managed to pay for the first two chapters, but I cannot afford anything more than this. It is an estimated cost of $15,000 per chapter for writing, pencils, colors, and letters. I use the word “estimated” because everything outside chapter 2 is not finalized and the page count may vary for the other chapters. There are 13 chapters in total, which means we have 11 more chapters to complete once the second is done. This is an estimated cost of $165,000 to complete the book. I’m not taking a single penny for myself or even trying to recoup the $30,000+ of my life savings I’ve already spent on this project. This book will be free to anyone who wants to read it!

I really really REALLY want to complete the book, but without some help, I will have to stop production after the second chapter is complete. If I were to get a Kickstarter page going, would you guys contribute? Would you pass it around to your friends? Naturally I would include as many incentives as I can, original art, signed sketches, printed copies when available, drawing your face on a character in the book, pinups, and more.

Let’s show the studios what the fans really want by finishing this book!!!
